- Surface Preparation: Help clean and prepare roof surfaces by removing old roofing materials, debris, and any obstructions.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and organize roofing tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Material Application: Support roofers in applying roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, metal sheets, and waterproofing membranes.
- Measuring and Cutting: Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas, following the direction of the lead roofer.
- Nailing and Fastening: Assist in nailing or fastening roofing materials to the roof structure, ensuring secure attachment.
- Sealant Application: Apply sealants, adhesives, and caulking to seams, joints, and penetrations to ensure waterproofing.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and attending safety meetings and training sessions.
